Would you like to be an ORCC trustee?

ORCC has a very capable and committed board of trustees who set the strategic direction and take responsibility for the sound financial management of organisation.

No special knowledge or experience is needed, but we would be looking for people who have the ability to play an active part in the overall (strategic) running of the organisation and able to participate thoughtfully in meetings. We also want our Board members to have an interest in rural communities, and to be able to work as part of a team. 

What kind of time commitment would be involved?

Board meetings are held 6 times a year, and start at 2.00pm. A number of Sub-Committees meet on the same or less frequent cycles and we try to be flexible over dates/times (subject only to other members’ abilities to attend). There would be other ad hoc involvement mostly by e-mail, and/or phone, and occasional visits.
