Low Carbon Arkadia
If you were sailing away on an Ark to a low carbon future, what would you take with you and what would you leave behind?
The Ark is a spectacular public art installation that will showcase visual and performing arts created by 10 schools across Oxfordshire in response to the question – ‘If you were sailing away on an Ark to a low carbon future, what would you take with you and what would you leave behind?’.

This innovative project will culminate in the arrival of the Ark on the front lawn of Oxford University Museum of Natural History from 23 to 27 June as the centrepiece of a five-day arts and science celebration. The project explores ‘a positive vision of a low carbon future’ by bringing together artists and environmental scientists with innovators in the fields of technology, architecture and engineering to create a picture of a low carbon world that we can all aspire to.
