The Big Carbon Challenge is underway!
Climate action groups in Cropredy, Hailey, Eynsham, Shrivenham, Charlbury and Eynsham have taken up the challenge to spread the carbon reduction message in their communities.

Over the weekend, participants were trained in the Carbon Conversations method of low carbon living. It was an involving and inspring weekend, with topics including the emotions of climate change, the carbon footprint of food and transport choices.
Participants will now lead a series of meetings, with the aim of driving down the carbon emissions of their competition group. The groups demonstrating the biggest reductions between January and May will win cash prizes from a £1500 prize fund. Groups will also compete to demonstrate the most inspiring and engaging community strategy. So keep an eye out for what's coming up!
The Big Carbon Challenge is sponsored by Cottsway Housing Association and supported by Oxfordshire Rural Housing Partnership and Oxfordshire County Council's Low Carbon Communities Programme.
