Celebrating the best of 21st Century Village Life
At ORCC’s recent AGM, Calor made the announcement that they were pulling out from their national sponsorship of the Village of the Year Competition in 2010.
‘This is disappointing news’ said ORCC’s Chief Executive Linda Watson, ‘but it gives us all the chance to pause for breath. Entering the Competition can mean a lot of effort for villages, so next year we want to keep as much of the fun as we can and get rid of the hard work’.
So as part of ORCC’s 90th birthday celebrations in 2010, we will be inviting villages from all over Oxfordshire to help us celebrate the very best of 21st century rural community life.
