Great Haseley’s Farmers Market
On Sunday 11 December Great Haseley held their special Christmas edition of their farmers market. Held every second Sunday of the month, the farmers market gives local producers the opportunity to showcase their goods to the local community.
Great Haseley has a very active community and with help from ORCC’s village halls advisor now boasts a beautifully refurbished venue to host this monthly Farmers Market.
But that’s not all, Great Haseley are currently creating a Community Led Plan. Working closely with ORCC, the village action plan team will soon be sending out a questionnaire to gain views and volunteers for many new community projects.
If you want to follow in Great Haseley’s footsteps and create a Community Led Plan for your neighbourhood then contact Anton at ORCC today.
Don’t forget to drop in on Great Haseley’s Farmers Market in the village hall every second Sunday of the month from 10am to 12pm and enjoy the local produce including; Bread, Quiches, Cakes, Preserves, Chutneys & pickles, Honey, Eggs, Meat, Vegetables, Wine, Fruit, Cheese, Plants, Home-made chocolates, Crafts, Lavender goodies & home-made soaps, Coins & silver jewellery, Walking & working sticks, plus Tea, Coffee, Hot chocolate and Bacon butties !
