Carbon Conversations will be running in Banbury in October. The course is a series of 6 sessions looking at how we use carbon in four key areas of our lives and what we can do about it.
Carbon Conversations Facilitator Training Workshop
This 2-day weekend workshop introduces you to the materials and key skills needed to run a successful Carbon Conversations group. Partcipants should attend with the person they plan to co-facilitate with.

Low Carbon East Oxford Helps
Residents to Realise their Solar Aspirations Oxford
On Thursday 30 September 2010 LCEO launched a scheme to help local residents harness the power of the sun. The initiative offers a group of 12 or more households a significant discount on a solar roof and a dedicated specialist to guide them through the entire installation process. LCEO has partnered with local solar electricity specialists Joju Ltd (http://www.joju.co.uk) to help make the implementation process smoother and more affordable. In addition to taking advantage of the company's expertise the group of residents will enjoy around a quarter off the cost of a typical domestic installation.

Cut Your Carbon Footprint in Eynsham
GreenTEA is running a programme to help people cut their carbon footprint. They'll come and help you calculate how much carbon you currently use and discuss with you ways of reducing usage and cost. There's also a series of optional follow-up meetings over the winter on things like travel, insulation, electricity and to exchange tips and experience.

Practical Steps for a Greener Cropredy
Come along and discuss how Cropredy can get active on climate change. With short presentations on greener energy, biodiversity, low carbon initiatives and village resources, followed by a discussion and vote on what projects to pursue.
Thursday October 7, 7.30 at Cropredy Village Hall. Doors open from 7 with a cash bar, free soft drinks and nibbles.
