Oxfordshire LINk is a Local Involvement Network which is made up of individuals and community groups who care about our health and social care services and work together to make improvements. One of the aims of Oxfordshire LINk is to make sure your opinion is listened to about how local services are planned, developed and delivered.
Oxfordshire LINk has been set up to give communities a stronger voice in how their health and social care services are delivered. The LINk promotes involvement and finds out what people think about the services, monitors the care provided by services and uses LINk powers to hold services to account.
The LINk is independent of the NHS and the Local Authority.
How the LINk Works
The goal of Oxfordshire LINk is to be Your Voice on Local Health and Social Care, which includes finding out what you like and don’t like about the health and social care services you use and what new services you need.
The role of Oxfordshire LINk is to talk to and listen to local people in lots of different ways to find out people’s opinions on local health and social care. The LINk will collect this information and work with health and social care organisations to improve services based on what people have said.
This may involve talking directly to health and social care staff about a service that is not being offered, or suggesting ways that an existing service could be improved. The LINk also has power to help with these tasks and to make sure changes happen.
Contact the LINk with views and comments about YOUR local Health and Social Care Services HERE. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback - we will ensure you receive a reply to your comment.
