Oxfordshire Community Transport and Accessibility Partnership
What OCTAP aims to do:-
1. To promote social inclusion in rural Oxfordshire by ensuring, as far as possible, that everyone in rural Oxfordshire is able to access the following:
a) employmentb) shops and commercial servicesc) leisure, cultural and social activitiesd) health and welfare servicese) education and trainingf) statutory service centresg) information and advice providers.
2. To achieve this as far as possible by promoting the accessibility and use of public or community transport services giving priority to the needs of individuals or groups who currently lack adequate transport.

- Vale of White Horse District Council
- West Oxfordshire District Council
- Age Concern Oxfordshire
- Cherwell Vale PCT
- Oxfordshire Association of Local Councils
- Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust
Members actively seek improvement in passenger transport in Oxfordshire whilst also seeking to improve opportunities for walking and cycling.
Funding
The Oxfordshire Community Transport and Accessibility Partnership may be able to access funds to help new or established community-based transport schemes. It can also provide support from its members for innovative ideas and plans.
