The 729 (seven-to-nine) club was set up by Ken Norman and Tim Lyon. It has become established as a business networking club for Chipping Norton and its surrounding business community. We meet from 7:00am until 9:00am on the second Wednesday of every month at The Chequers.
The club is for job-seekers, local business people, people who work from home and working professionals seeking to establish mutually beneficial business relationships with like-minded individuals. Members meet in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to exchange ideas, share contacts and support each other. The club encourages attendance by anyone with an interest in speaking to business, teachers and pupils from local schools and local councillors often attend.
Borrowing elements from some of the best networking clubs around, the 729 Club operates by the philosophy that networking should be:
- Serious but Fun
- Structured yet Informal
- Focused on Relationships
- Welcoming and Supportive
The club is co-ordinated by Ken Norman & Tim Lyon of New Tricks Training Ltd, local writer Chris Hogan and Paul Downes & Ray Guzenda of GD Associates.
